New England Society of CPAs membership
Already belong to a participating state society? Check your account transfer before paying to join again. New to membership? Start with the category that fits your enrollment and career stage.
The New England Society of CPAs (NECPAs) brings together Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Kesler partners with NECPAs: eligible members save $300 on COMPLETE or MAX.
Your existing membership may already transfer.
MassCPAs members
NECPAs says your account has transferred. Use your existing username and password to sign in to NECPAs.
Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Vermont members
Use the New England Incoming Member application with your existing member ID. Check that your membership is recognized before making a new payment.
During the transition, NECPAs directs members to their home society for renewals; former MassCPAs members renew through NECPAs. Belong to more than one participating society? Ask NECPAs to check duplicate dues first. Follow the current account-transfer and renewal instructions.
Which category fits you?
College student
Free
NECPAs offers free dual student membership with the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). Its college criteria cover accounting/business undergraduate or graduate students attending school in New England, or studying elsewhere with a permanent New England address.
Student membership ends when you qualify for Associate or Fellow membership. Check student eligibility and use the dual-membership application.
Recent graduate
$219 annual dues
The published reduced rate has an age condition. The rates page says under 27; the society's application wording has also described 27 or younger. If you are 27, confirm eligibility directly. Graduation alone does not establish your category.
Associate
$369 annual dues
This is the published rate for qualifying non-certified members. Ask NECPAs which category fits your work and CPA exam status if student or recent-graduate membership does not apply.
The rates page lists a $30 one-time joining fee and prorated dues for new members. It also lists student membership as free. Confirm whether that fee applies to your student application; do not assume it is charged or waived. Existing transfers and renewals need their own confirmation.
Compare the $300 course saving with your actual dues.
Eligible NECPAs members save $300 on Kesler COMPLETE or MAX through the exclusive link supplied in the society's member area. View Pricing to compare the courses. Confirm that your membership category includes this benefit before joining for the discount.
Recent-graduate example
$219 dues + $30 joining fee = $249.
With a $300 eligible course saving, your combined cost is $51 less than the public course price alone.
Associate example
$369 dues + $30 joining fee = $399.
After the $300 course saving, your combined cost is $99 more than the public course price alone. Consider whether you will use the society's other benefits.
These examples use one full-year dues payment, the published joining fee and one eligible course purchase. Actual proration, renewal, employer coverage and other available course offers can change your comparison. If your eligible membership is already paid, you do not need to join again to use the course benefit.
NECPAs' published year runs May 1 through April 30. Its dues and administrative fees are nonrefundable. The Flex Payment Plan spreads the annual balance into installments and requires auto-renewal. The published auto-renewal opt-out deadline is 14 days before May 1. Review the dues payment terms before selecting a payment plan.

Get your resume in front of employers
Student resources include resume posting, internship notices and career workshops. Update your resume, then choose a workshop or opportunity relevant to the role you want.
Ask a professional a focused question
Explore mentoring opportunities. Bring a specific question about a career path or balancing work and exam preparation. Availability varies; membership does not promise an assigned mentor.
Check education funding
Review scholarship eligibility and application dates before budgeting around an award. Scholarships require an application and are not guaranteed.
Explore NECPAs' college-student benefits and resources. Events and programs can have separate eligibility rules or costs.
Before you join, record four answers.
Use this checklist even if you already have a CPA review course. Society membership can be useful for professional connections, but a discount is only valuable on a purchase you need.
Dues due now + joining fee + renewals during your planned membership + course price after the eligible discount.
Compare that total with the course offer and employer coverage otherwise available to you.
Am I already covered?
Check your former society membership and any employer-paid membership before opening another account.
Which category is confirmed?
Record NECPAs' answer about your enrollment, graduate status and age if relevant. Confirm student-to-associate timing.
What is due now and next?
Ask for the joining fee, prorated dues, paid-through date, renewal amount and payment-plan commitment.
What will I use first?
Choose a career resource or event. If you want the Kesler benefit, confirm category eligibility and locate the society-provided link before buying.
